came my way one day,
You almost scared my life away.
I looked for a hero as in years ago,
A Robin Hood but none I know
You tried to hurt me deep inside,
You rattled my bones till I damn near cried.
I reached down deep, and prayed to thee,
To be the hero I needed to be.

From out of nowhere strength did come,
I knew my battle had really begun
Now comes the test of who I really am,
Faith can make a hero of a man
Now I've learned to myself I can be
My own super hero that can set me free,
I can get through all things now I know is true,
For I found strength and faith in you.
