GOOD OLE DAYS
It's the summer of 1960, things are pretty cool,
I got on my open sweater with my letter from school.
I'm just a heading out to pick up my little Suzy,
Looking for a good time, gonna have us a doozy.
I am sitting there at the soda shop,
With my lady having a soda pop.
The top is down and the radio plays,
Years from now these are the good ole days.
You're looking pretty good all decked out in pink and white,
I sure am glad that you are, the one I'm with tonight.
Your pony tail a bouncing and those sexy bobbie socks,
Sitting near me in my car, you and those goldie locks.
I am sitting there at the soda shop,
With my lady having a soda pop.
The top is down and the radio plays,
Years from now these are the good ole days.
So hey there my little Suzy, where do you want to ride,
Anywhere we go is fine as long as you are at my side.
We'll ride out to the bluff, watch over the hood of my car,
We'll watch the sun go down, and wait to see a falling star.
I am sitting there at the soda shop,
With my lady having a soda pop.
The top is down and the radio plays,
Years from now these are the good ole days.
